Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about CDT, how to get involved, and how the trust works.
- What is Comrie Development Trust?
- CDT is a community-owned charitable trust that manages Cultybraggan Camp and runs projects for the benefit of Comrie and the surrounding area. We were established following a community buyout of the camp in September 2007.
- How do I become a member?
- Membership is free and open to anyone with a connection to Comrie or an interest in what we do. You can apply online via the Join page — we just need your name and contact details.
- What happens at the AGM?
- The Annual General Meeting is where members vote on key decisions, elect board members, and hear about the trust's activities and finances over the past year. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
- How can I volunteer?
- We have working groups covering everything from conservation to community events. Visit the Working Groups page to see what is active and get in touch with the group that interests you. No formal commitment is required to come along.
- Who runs CDT?
- CDT is governed by a volunteer board of directors elected by the membership. Day-to-day operations are supported by a small staff and a large network of volunteers. See the About page for the current board and team.
