CDT is community-owned and community-led. Everything we do is governed openly — our accounts, minutes, and policies are all published here.
The organisation shall be known as Comrie Development Trust. It is incorporated as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator as SC038596.
The purposes of the Organisation are: to advance community development including the advancement of urban or rural regeneration in Comrie and the surrounding area; to advance environmental protection and improvement; and to advance heritage, arts, and culture for the benefit of the community.
Membership is open to all individuals aged 18 or over who are registered to vote within the Comrie Community Council area. The Trust is governed by a Board of Directors, elected by and from the membership at each Annual General Meeting.
