About the orchard
Comrie Community Orchard was established at Cultybraggan Camp in 2010. Volunteers have planted and cared for apple, pear, plum and damson trees, including heritage varieties.
The orchard combines practical fruit-tree care with local learning and community use. Work varies through the year and can include pruning, mulching, grass and habitat management, fruit thinning and harvesting.
Work sessions
The group has traditionally held regular volunteer sessions, often on the first Sunday of the month. Dates, times, tasks and equipment needs can change, so confirm the next session before travelling.
Apple Day
Past programmes have included Apple Day, with fruit pressing, tasting and activities linked to the harvest. Check the Events page or contact the group for any confirmed future date.
